Welcome to WOTU
We have a Youtube channel for the old shows located here. Please subscribe. Shows are being added weekly.
World of the Unexplained first aired on terrestrial radio on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2002. At that time, the show's title was "J. Scott's World of the Unexplained." The show opened the doors to the many people that are now household names in the paranormal world. The show ended after one semester.
A few years later, the thought of bringing the show back as a live internet show began to bloom. With the help of an old friend that shared an interest in the paranormal, Trent Lackey, the two set out to start a new show and called it World of the Unexplained. Soon thereafter, an old college buddy of J.'s, Chuck Browder came on scene to run the board and do the tech stuff. Last but not least, Dee Clements came on board to screen the calls and whatever else was needed. The show had a strong run and ended in 2008 due to time constraints and just life in general. After some time had passed the team got back together in 2014 and released a handful of new episodes until finally calling it a day later that same year. Last year, it was decided that the older episodes needed a home and a YouTube channel was created. The guys are watching the popularity of this channel to see if a new spin on the old show would be worth bringing it back.
It's it, what is it?
Nah, just kidding. World of the Unexplained is just two guys from North Carolina talking about all manner of paranormal stuff. History, Cryptids, UFOs, mysteries, conspiracies, spirits (both kinds), God and the Devil, and goat yoga.
